SHOPS, CDL, AND DRIVERS
TIRE SHOP:
Co-op has a tire shop attached to our store location in Lafayette. We offer brand-name tires and products for both farm, truck,and passenger vehicles. We are always looking for high-quality technicians that are ready to provide the best service around.
SMALL ENGINE SHOP:
The Co-op small engine shop is located behind the main store in Lafayette. Our shop works on lawn mowers of all kinds, trimmers, generators, power washers, and more. Co-op is looking for employees with the experience and skills needed to repair a variety of small engines.
DRIVERS:
Co-op offers bulk fertilizer, micronutrients, livestock feed, and more to be delivered to farms across both Macon and Trousdale counties. Co-op keeps a team of experienced drivers who bring what the farmers need right to their farm gate.
CDL:
Co-op has several Commercial Driver’s License carriers on staff to help with in-state pick-up and deliveries including merchandise from our feed mill and gate plant in LaVergne.
STORE & FIELD STAFF
SHOW ROOM:
Co-op supplies our community with items including farm equipment, hardware, agronomy, feed, animal health, and rural lifestyle products. Our showroom staff works hard to assist customers in getting the right item to help with any task. They strive to be enthusiastic and self-motivated and are passionate about making their local farmers more successful, profitable, and efficient. Duties include, but are not limited to, stocking and cleaning the showrooms and helping customers at the counter.
WAREHOUSE:
Warehouse Team Members are responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. A good Warehouse Team Member has an excellent work ethic and is always looking for tasks to keep them busy. Duties include, but are not limited to, loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers and organizing incoming stock.
FIELD STAFF:
Co-op field staff specialize in areas such as agronomy and livestock and are able to help farmers make purchases to help their operations. These individuals will visit local farms to provide recommendations and exceptional customer service to the farmer members and patrons of Macon-Trousdale Farmers Cooperative. They will also have strong relationships with their customers which helps Co-op provide the best solutions at the right time to fit their individual needs.
